Pregnant? You need Omega 3's
Once again there is a new study talking about the benefits of Omega 3’s. This study is different in that it touts the benefits of eating fish for pregnancy. Not only does mom benefit, but baby as well. Mothers who take a fish supplement or consume fish at least 2x a week during pregnancy are much less susceptible to post postpartum depression, mood swings and they recover from having a baby much quicker. The baby on the other hand, gets the benefits of better brain development and improvement to eye sight. So ladies eat your fish, especially salmon. I would avoid tuna during pregnancy due to possible mercury contamination. To be on the safe side take 3to 5 grams daily of omega3 supplement of fish oil or Hemp seed oil.
